What I Saw Last Night (2006)

A tv screen shows footgae from the same spot at night, when the Marine
Corps at Twenty-Nine Palms, CA, runs bombing tests on the mountain range.
When I saw this before, it made me think about a range of disaster movies
inspired by this landscape, how complicated special effects re-create
a visual phenomenon which occurs here regularly, and about the role
of this landscape in the popular imagination.
