ONSEN (BATHHOUSE) (2002), VIDEO INSTALLATION, 05:00 MINTwo channel video installation in traditional puppet theater in rural Japan. The piece was made in collaboration with the inhabitants of the rural community in Kamiyama, Japan.
The community told me stories and showed me their town, and together we made this piece in which I reflected back to the community what they had showed me. Here is an installation shot and two video stills.
